Five Years

April 3 marks 5 years since I was instituted as the Rector of Church of the Holy Trinity. We are very thankful and overwhelmed at the great mercy and grace of God upon our family in this ministry. He indeed is to be praised for His love of us all. I am grateful at the love we have experienced from all of you. I am grateful at seeing your love in action with one another, responding to God’s love for you through loving each other. Our family has enjoyed our time with you over these few years immensely. We look forward to many more years to come as we grow together in the grace of God through Jesus Christ as a Parish family. We are blessed to call Church of Holy Trinity our home. We are blessed to count all of you as brothers and sisters in the Lord.

On this weekend where we mark five years, we are thankful for your tireless work in the Church. We are thankful for your love of my family as we serve Christ together. We covet your continued prayers for our family as we continue shepherding you in the Faith. Let us continue to trust in Christ alone as He grows His Church. May we continue to be good stewards of the gifts and talents He has given us to work in this part of the Body of Christ. May we continue to lift each other up in prayer.

My deepest gratitude goes to one very special and beloved person in my life beyond any other person. I am deeply thankful and humbled by the love and friendship that my wife gives beyond my deserving. Beth is my rock. She is my closest friend and I am deeply grateful. Please be sure to tell her thanks for all she does for us all. As Proverbs 31:10 states, this is how I feel about Beth, “An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.”

We thank all of you for your dedication and love. We value all of you. We look forward to continue to work as stewards of God’s gifts and talents He has given as we serve Him in building each other up. I look forward to our future together as a Parish. “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” I Thessalonians 5:11.

In Christ’s Love,
