Keeping "the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints".
At Church of The Holy Trinity we acknowledge the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God and our ultimate authority. We confess the historic catholic faith as it was defined in the creeds of the early, undivided Church, and we worship according to the liturgical forms of the ancient church.
Our Story
We believe that, in His love, God the Creator made man in His image and gave him dominion over the earth; but man rebelled against God, thus bringing himself and all creation under the power of sin and death. And we believe the GOSPEL - good news - that God made a covenant with Israel in order to deal with sin and bless the world, and that these purposes have been fulfilled in God's Son, our Lord Jesus Christ: in His conception and birth God has brought His life to humanity; through His death God has condemned sin; in His resurrection, exaltation and in the sending of His Spirit God has begun the New Creation; and at the end of this age God will judge the world through Him, finally condemning evil and completing the renewal of His people and all creation.
Our Life
We gratefully and humbly recognize that our Life is from the Father through the Son by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we seek God and His PRESENCE before all else, and we acknowledge that as we abide in Him and He abides in us we will bear much fruit, while apart from Him we can do nothing.
Our Calling
We joyfully embrace our calling in Christ_
_to the service of the WORSHIP of God; seeking-as God's holy priesthood-to faithfully proclaim His praises and to present our whole lives as offerings to Him.
_to COMMUNITY; seeking-as members of the Body of Christ-to love one another and to use our resources and gifts to care for and build up one another.
_to MISSION; seeking-as Christ's ambassadors-to extend God's Kingdom into the world through the proclamation of His Gospel, the extension of His mercy and the promotion of His justice.
